OVERSEAS MALAYSIANS, we need your HELP #KitaJagaKita.

The healthcare system back home is overtaxed because of the prolonged COVID Pandemic. We ask that you take the time to watch the video of a live recording from frontliners on the crisis they are facing in hospitals in the Klang Valley in July 2021, and consider our friends and family back home.

IDEAS Community Projects and Projek #BangsaMalaysia have launched a HOSPITAL EMERGENCY FUND to aid Malaysia’s hospitals and frontliners.  Read on below for their current fund report.

NZ Malaysia Business Council Inc. (NZMBA) in Auckland, NZ is helping to fundraise collectively from fellow Malaysians in New Zealand, with a lump sum fund to be transferred to the IDEAS bank account for this Hospital Emergency Fund.

This fundraising campaign CLOSES on 31 August 2021.

As of 16th August 2021, the total amount of donations we have received is RM 1,816,387.71.

To date, we have paid for equipment totalling RM 1,053,257 and delivered them directly to hospitals across Klang Valley.

We have already allocated another RM 761,650 for equipment in various stages of processing, including admin and postage costs of RM3,500. This brings the current expenditure to RM 1,814,307.  Our current fund balance is RM 2,080.71.

•             BP Monitoring Sets (10 units) = RM 51,000

•             Cadaver bags (1000 units) = RM 65,000

•             Oxygen cylinder 3L (10 units) = RM 5,200

•             Suction machine portable (6 units) = RM 36,000

NZMBA – MyFundAction Halal Expo 2022

The New Zealand Business Association (NZMBA) in collaboration with MyFundAction New Zealand, with the support of the NZMBA Secretariat – Stace Hammond Lawyers and Waikato Chamber of Commerce, are looking at diversifying NZ’s halal exports to the Middle East and ASEAN by hosting a Halal Expo tent at Fieldays in 2022.

We are now fielding enquiries from NZ-based businesses who want to expand into the halal markets of these regions.
